Cervical Spondylosis

Also referred to as arthritis that exists in the neck, Cervical Spondylosis occurs when the disks and facet joints that run through this area degenerate over time or are exposed to sudden trauma and are damaged. In this degenerated and/or damaged state, your discs begin to dry out and crack due to a loss of a sugar-protein known as proteoglycans, tearing its outer layers- annulus fibrosus.
